The 2011 Tulsa Holiday Parade of Lights wasn’t your average parade. In a triumphant display of community togetherness, thousands of people joined in celebrating the holiday season. For the first time in its 85-year year history, the parade included Tulsa’s Christian, Jewish, and Muslim communities.

This Land Press is proud to have sponsored such a historically significant parade; we’re grateful for the thousands of people–including our mayor and city councillors–who all attended the parade and supported this amazing Tulsa tradition. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
