Café

Luckily,
She was there to take his order.

Or he wouldn’t have gotten any coffee.

Luckily,
There was that clock on the wall.

Because if he’d forgotten his watch,
He could look at it.

Luckily,
Someone took the time to write a newspaper,

Or he would’ve had nothing to read.

It was all so lucky
That God was jealous.

It was all so lucky,
The wind stopped.

It was all so lucky,
Statues were built.

It was all so lucky,
Birds decided not to migrate that year.

It was so lucky,
Everyone switched religions and lived happily ever after.

It was so lucky,
A movie was made.

It was so lucky,
A spinoff was written.

It was so lucky,
He fell off a bridge, laughing.
