On today’s episode of This Land Live, News Editor Holly Wall interviewed Steve Liggett, artistic director of Living Arts of Tulsa, a 42-year-old nonprofit contemporary arts organization that annually hosts a festival of new, cutting-edge artworks. As Liggett explains, the New Genre Festival—now in its 19th year—celebrates contemporary art forms (video, installation, performance art, etc.) by showcasing local, national, and international artists over a three-weekend period.
