Sarah Brown is the creator and host of the Brooklyn-based Cringe reading series and author of Cringe: Teenage Diaries, Journals, Notes, Letters, Poems, and Abandoned Rock Operas (Crown, 2008) and Cringe: Toe-Curlingly Embarrassing Teenage Diaries, Letters and Bad Poetry (Michael O’Mara Books Ltd, 2009).

Her writing has appeared online at McSweeney’s, Gawker, The Morning News, and Que Sera Sera, her personal blog since 2001. Brown was born and raised in Tulsa (Memorial High School ’95, University of Tulsa BA ’99), but moved to New York in 2003. She currently lives in London with her fiancé.
