Dr. Guy Logsdon is a folklorist, writer, musician and Woody Guthrie historian. He’s known for his articles and feature programs on Oklahoma history, the American West, western and cowboy music, Bob Wills and Western Swing and of course, Woody Guthrie. Among his numerous books are The Whorehouse Bells Are Ringing and Other Songs Cowboys Sing, Flip of a Coin; the Tommy Allsup Story, and soon to be released Woody’s Road co-authored with Woody Guthrie’s sister Mary Jo Guthrie Edgmon.
