Wink Burcham is one living embodiment of the “New Tulsa Sound” being played out on Horton Records. His singer-songwriter style combines aspects of classic country, grassroots folk, and Motown blues. His debut album, Irene Vennie (also on Horton), was recorded at Tulsa’s legendary Church Studio.
