The artist Harold Stevenson is best known for his paintings of male nudes, and his friendships with pop art royalty. He has lived in Paris, and Rome, and Venice, and New York City.

After the death of his long-time partner, Harold moved home to Idabel, Oklahoma, where he grew up. Now he is 85 years old, and lives alone in a hunting cabin on the outskirts of town.

Sarah Geis drove down to Idabel, and brings us this portrait.
