Agnes Taylor’s family album is full of hardscrabble farmers, war heroes, and football champions—she’s a sixth-generation Oklahoman with roots all the way to Big Pasture, Indian Territory. A kindergartener at Marquette Catholic School in Tulsa, she likes learning Spanish, practicing piano, and watching Hello Kitty. Miss Taylor says her favorite thing about Oklahoma is all the parks (especially the ones with the good slides). She can’t wait to be a cheerleader.
