Dr. Lewis Ziska is a plant ecologist at the United States Department of Agriculture. Ziska’s work examines the effects of carbon dioxide on plant growth–plants that we eat, which are getting harder to grow, as well as some wild weeds, which thrive on CO2. Here, Ziska speaks with This Land Radio about feeding the world’s growing population, the monoculture of McDonald’s fries, and the future of our grocery stores.
